At last, through the analysis of the works, their conciousness of tragedy is presented by the reasons formed in the development especially childhood experienceThis paper mainly examines the cultural structure, and the effect which culture, especially the traditional chinese cutlure, caused to their development. The paper discusses two points of the cultural and social character: Rise of the famous romantic feelings and Confucianism. Also from the internal and external cause, the paper seeks reasons for their birth, proofs that birth is the important way for them resisting to suffering, desperation and self-salvation, and analyzes different motivations and consequences of thier birth.This paper compares the mysterious lives of Su Manshu and Li Shutong, attempts to analyze their similarities and differences by comparing their cultural character, social character as well as the out-of-the-world and tragic sense and to pursue their cultural significance and inspiration to contemporary culture.
