Shanghai's Post-war Reconstruction Of The Social Order And Its Failure

From August 1945,the defeat of Japan,to liberation of Shanghai on May 1949,which is the period of the final development and collapse of the rule by the national government in Shanghai.This paper aims to study this period,how the national government to establish order reconstruction through the police force,as well as study the role of the police in the course of the decline and fall of political power.That is,in the perspective of Shanghai police,the study of how the national government to deal with relation of country and public as well as order reconstruction and crime punishment after the war,this paper is also to reveal the reasons for the failure of the National government from one side.This paper is divided into six parts:First,introduction which is illustration on the main reasons of choose this topics,research status,research method and papers framework and also explain the concept of correlation.Second,this part had clarified a new conflict when the social order"reconstruction"of Shanghai after post-war:it had also introduced the basic situation of the community post-war in Shanghai,this part had included three sections which is through various types of social issues, all kinds of social crime,such as the rise of the revolutionary forces,to clarify the importance of the police force.Third,this part told you in Shanghai the national government had reformed in police via the police organizational structure and staffing after the war,also illustrated the political purposes of the national government to reform the police.Fourth,this part will show police force in the rebuilding the social order,will also illustrate what the police had done during the time of Shanghai social order post-war reconstruction in details,further highlighting the repression functions of national police during the special period.Fifth,this part had told the reasons for the failure of social order reconstruction,also revealed the failure during the time that National government had rebuilded social order in Shanghai,in the view of police to further analysis on the failure reasons.Sixth,conclusion:a comprehensive review of post-war social situation in Shanghai and the police as a further analysis of the Shanghai social order of the root causes of the failure of reconstruction.With the point of view of dialectical materialism to analysis this historical process, which had provide inspiration for solution for emerging problems arise in the process of society modernization.
