The collection of two novels Chukepaianjingqi and Erkepaianjingqi was called "ErPai". It was written independently by Ling Mingchu in The late Ming Dynasties.Chinese is rich in classifiers, which is one of the most obvious characteristics of this language.This thesis has two goals: Discribe all the classifiers in ErPai; make a statistic of classifiers according to their categories.This thesis is composed of three parts:1. Give a of description of research of classifiers in twentieth centry and the research of ErPai.Give the goal, meaning and research methods of this thesis.2. Describe all the classifiers in ErPai. All the classifiers in ErPai are divided into two categories: noun-classifies and verb-classifies. Noun-classifies are divided into three sub-categories: shape characteristics classifiers, characteristics of non-appearance classifiers and dependent noun classifiers. Verb classifes are divided into four categories: ordinary verb categories, independent verb categories, JieZhu verb categories, and modal verb categories. In each categories, all the classifiers was listed and explained. The number of classfies was counted and examples were listed.3. Statistics and analysis. List the number of classifiers according to their subcategories and list all the classifiers in ErPai. Get the conlclusion on the basis of research all the classifiers in ErPai. The number of classifiers in ErPai is huge and the frequency of classifiers is high. That is to say: the development of classifiers is mature in Ming Dynasty. In this part of thesis, analysis was made concisely to the following three grammar phenomenon: The number of structure, the double-slyble classifiers, the grammar meaning of double-used classifiers .
