Constructing And Improving The Mental Health Education System Of Our Colleges And Universities

Carrying out mental health education in institute of higher learning plays a very important role. It can solve the issue of mental health of college students. In order to make the mental health education of our colleges and universities standard, orderly, efficient and practical, the most important and urgent task is to build mental health education system. Construction of the high school mental health education system is an important aspect of healthy growth to a college student, but also the meaning of Quality Education should have. At present, the conditions of our university students'mental health reflect the shortcomings existed in the work of high school mental health education, mainly because there is not a perfect work system in the mental health education. Construction of mental health education system must make clear the meaning of mental health education and mental health education system, the role and status of college mental health education. During the course of building the college mental health education system, we should introduce foreign advanced education experiences, and pay attention to our own reality, insisting on our own way at the same time. This paper starts with the basic theory of mental health education, analysis the status of colleges and universities mental health education in China and abroad, sums up the college abroad development tendency of mental health education by comparing, gets the inspiration through the issue existed in mental health education in our colleges and universities. The construction of mental health education system in our colleges and universities is described in details in this paper. It lies in six aspects: the organization and management systems of the University Mental Health Education, the work systems, the staff training and accreditation systems, the psychological systems of crisis prevention and intervention, the ecological environment systems of mental health education, the assessment and feedback systems of mental health education. Hopefully,the paper presented herein will be of assistance to the construction of our colleges and universities mental health education system.
