| The mental health of university students is related with their usual study, life and growth, in addition to the overall quality of talents in our country. Sci-tech university students are the most important component of college students in China. They have different metal characteristics from usual college students, because of their special knowledge structure and campus culture atmosphere. Compared with the developed countries, the mental health education for the Chinese university students has not achieved much and related experience is still limited. Especially, there are several drawbacks in the field of mental health education for the Sci-tech university students, such as no enough attention, no scientific activities, no comprehensive system, no good regulations, and not effective, etc. In this work, three aspects concerning the mental health education for the university students in China were explored. The first part covers the basic present status of the mental health education for the Chinese university students and the research progress in this field, and compares the significant difference in the mental health education in China and abroad. The second part discusses the systematic effectiveness of ethnic education in university through the mental health education for the Sci-tech university students, as well as the enhancement in overall quality of people involved in the ethnic education in university through the mental health education. The third part, based on the situation in China, explores the working aspects, methods, ways, conditions and institutional establishment in the mental health education for the Sci-tech university students, taking the actual situation of the University of Science and Technology of China as an example. |
