The Research Of The Thought And Practice Of Deng Zihui's The Nationwide United Front For The War Of Resistance Against Japan

Mr. Deng Zihui took part in the revolution in his youth and made great contributions to the Chinese revolution and constructions. In the research on him, we mainly concentrated on his thought about the rural institutions and economic reforms at the primary time our People's Republic, while we rarely focused on his thought and practice on the Anti-Japanese national united front. During the early Anti-Japanese War, he came to the battlefields in the central China, facing the dangerous situation in which they were attacked and surrounded by the Japanese, puppet and stubbborn enemies. In spite of the very difficult circumstances, he also led the constructions of the revolutionary bases in the south of Anhui Province, in the south and north of Jiangsu Province. He alsocarried out the Party's general policy——Developing the progressiveforces, seeking the intermediate forces and isolating the stubborn forces, and built revolutionary bases and established the democratic regime led by the Party with the united front. Meanwhile he widely carried out democratic reforms, mobilized the people and made great contributions to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and democratic reforms. His ideological core was to adhere to the principles of the united front of independence. In how to maintain the Anti-Japanese national united front in the right direction, he resolutely struggled against Xiang Ying's right-wing capitulationism. At the same time, he quickly put forward the idea of overcoming the pro-democracy movement in the work of the phenomenon that had left. In promoting and implementing the Party's general policy of the united front, he always adhered to the principle of seeking truth from facts and required investigations and studies and carried out fruitful work. In developing the progressive forces, he put forward the idea of generally organizing, launching and arming the masses, mobilizing the women well, seeking intellectuals, uniting and educating them, as well as respecting the independence of the public organizations and profoundly understanding the way and style people work with parties, governments, armies, non-labor, non-masses and non-local errors and developing an effective response measures. In seeking the intermediate forces he actively sought the friendly forces, local power allocation, the national bourgeoisie, the local gentry, gangs and dandits and let them make contributions to the War. In isolating the stubborn forces, he advocated the combination of fight and help and made a timely summary of the experiences and lessons of fighting against the stubborn forces and he emphasized no unprincipled concessions .He was firmly against the stubborn forces like Han Deqin with the activities specializing in friction and the destruction of our unity and war in order to achieve the goal of struggling for unity. In the implementing the policy of the united front, he combined the Anti-Japanese War with democractive reforms. He creatively developed the Reducing Rent and Interest Movement and summarized the important experiences of mobilizing the peasant masses, hitting the political advantage of the landlord class and establishing the political advantage Of the farmers in order to realize the policy of reducing rent and interest. He also made a summary of actively promoting the democractic reforms in the revolutionary bases, abolished Baojia System,transformed rural powers adopted representatives of a new system and kept the masses of the basic political advantages and boldly broke through the Sansan System.MR. Deng Zihui's thought on Anti-Japanese national united front enriched and developed Mao Zedong's thoughts on the united front ,which became one of the important sources of the thinking and theory of China's socialist transformation and construction.
