20 years recently, televisions, as the culture-transmission star, become fashionable in the whole world swiftly follow the rapid developing of science. Human beings go into a new tele-culture time. In the system of tele-culture, Teleplay is the important reflection of culture study. While in contemporary teleplays family, Soap Opera play the indispensable role.Chapter One: Soap Operas of current China. This part consists of two aspects: the conception and history of Soap Operas. A piece of Soap Opera is a continuous and imaginary Teleplay of whole stories, who is broadcasted continuously according to fixed time tables, focus on the relation of actors in a special groups. Soap Opera is some kind of metropolis emotional opera. Whose main purpose is to reflect the emotions of the masses. The history of Soap Opera in current China can be separated into four periods: the starting period (1980-1984); the exploding period (1985-1989); the developing period: (1990-1999); the maturing period: (2000 till now).Chapter Two: The female character of Soap Opera. Analyse the culture of Soap Opera: Embody the male ideology; Female is confined with the male ideology. (They accept the wealth distribution, the family values, the social problems, and the positions of female.) Analyse what emotion and relation are reflected in the Soap Opera from male visual angle. Why female admit the male ideology?Chapter Three: Aesthetic cultural characters of current Chinese Soap Operas. Go through from aesthetic psychology, combine with the final result of Soap Operas, analyse why the people consider the Soap Opera is"aesthetic".
