| Nowadays, as the exchange and development of world economy, the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet plays an important role in the field of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, which has been recognized and accepted by community all over the world. However, lack of separate research, the research of Chinese Phonetic Alphabet is included in Chinese pronunciation research, The research of Chinese Phonetic Alphabet application itself is relatively few in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The situation of Chinese Phonetic Alphabet application in teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is realized by doing research to foreign students who have initial level of studying Chinese language. This paper displays the situation impersonally. Except the preface and the conclusion, the thesis is made of four parts:Partâ… ,the necessary explanation of the object of research, which is Chinese Phonetic Alphabet ,and the scope of research.Partâ…¡,Doing research to the junior classes foreign students which learn Chinese as the second language, including their understandings of Chinese Phonetic Alphabet and Chinese Phonetic Alphabet application.
