| Shuowen Jiezi Zhujian is a successful work about Shuowen Jiezi Zhu in Qing dynasty,but,so far,few researches were about it,and we haven't seen any publications demonstrated the correction of Xiaozhuan systematically by using ancient characters information.So,this paper compares the fonts of Xiaozhuan recorded by Xu Shen,Duan Yucai and Xu Hao exhaustivly,and on the other hand,assesses the gains and losses of the correction of Xiaozhuan jointly which was corrected by Xu Hao,through comparing them with ancient characters in unearthed text,the transcriptions of ancient characters.Firstly,it gives a general review of Xu Hao'life and works,introduces the style of Shuowen Jiezi Zhujian and the situation of researches to it.At the same time,it definites the materials,methods and meanings of this paper.Secondly,it devides the Xiaozhuan to three parts objectivly as soon as possible through comparing the fonts of Xiaozhuan in Shuowen Jiezi,Shuowen Jiezi Zhu and Shuowen Jiezi Zhujian,according to the explanations of Xu Hao.The three parts are:Xu Hao corrected some characters according to Shuowen Jiezi which Duan Yucai have changed;he corrected some characters which Shuowen Jiezi Zhu is the same as Shuowen Jiezi;he corrected the characters which are different from Shuowen Jiezi,Shuowen Jiezi Zhu to Shuowen Jiezi Zhujian.Finally,Xu Hao's achievement and failure is summarized and analyzed by comparing the corrected characters with the transcriptions of ancient characters and the unearthed ancient text materials,including Oracle,Bronze inscriptions,and the Warring States character,etc.He corrected 23 characters successfully according to the different versions of Shuowen Jiezi and Bronze inscriptions,but,he also correct 35 characters wrongly because he believed himself and Shuowen Jiezi too much,or can't choose the fight Xiaozhuan and Bronze. |
