Ang Lee films to focus on the individual and groups of ethical problems,that is,the individual self with him,and world relations.The problem is in the film in different contexts in order to show progressive manner,divided into three levels.In the first level,the Ang Lee through the "family trilogy" show us the individual in the family life and conflicts of all kinds of embarrassing,so thinking individual who with his(family) relations.At the secondary level, through "rational and emotional," "Ice Storm," "Ride with the Devil," "Hulk," Ang Lee from a different perspective to explore further the growth and transformation in the self-dynamic process of self-relationship with him,and this growth and transformation is achieved in the fight against them.In the growth process,the individual self and the public have a great contradiction between ethics and individual,therefore various difficulties and setbacks encountered,and after going through a struggle,through self-regulation to adapt to the Statute of public ethics,and he finally reached a self-adapted,the community of mutual recognition.At the tertiary level,by "Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon," "Brokeback Mountain," "Lust, Caution," three movies,to explore deeper Lee:When an overwhelming desire for individual self-ethics of the collective,the individual and his,and the relationship between the world the way to the extreme performance for the suppression of freedom and the more general question. In order to find freedom,individual tragic price to pay,even though we bear a great depression, but the soul has always retained a hope of self-desire and persistence.
