Tanizaki Jun'ichirou(1886 - 1965) is a modern literary master in Japan. His creation covered more than half a century from the Meiji, Taisho to Showa ,and made a great contribution to Japanese and world literature. Tanizaki has been studied popularly not only in Japan, but also at abroad, especially in Europe and the United States where people have kept a considerable enthusiasm on Kawasaki for nearly one century, since his maiden work'Tattoo" (1910) in a real sense was written. China began to pay attention to Tanizaki since 1918 and even used to form two peak periods about his translation and research; however, Tanizaki's translation and research are not adequate as a whole at home. So this thesis attempts ,seperately in two periods, to sort out and explore the condition concerning Tanizaki's study and his literature in China from the perspective of combining text analysis, relying on a lot of documentation. This thesis shows that the Tanizaki's translation is not only impacted by the political situation or other social factors, but also by the translators' personal preferences, standards and trend of thought in literature .
