Tanizaki Jun'ichirou, as the commanding general in Japanese aestheticism movement, had created many pieces of classics in his more than fifty yeas of life as a writer. When he established his reputation as a famous author in Japanese literary circles, his characteristics are organic and sexual beauty, being addicted to maltreating and maltreated. But since 1923, Tanizaki Jun'ichirou's writing style had been changing and he pursued graceful classical beauty in his works. In old ages, the style of Tanizaki Jun'ichirou's works returned to first period, that is to say, describing the devilishly sexual behavior. Differently, in this stage, the author paid attention to express the inner desire and mentality, which contain the characters' acts.In every period, Tanizaki Jun'ichirou always was a complete aesthetic artist, doing his utmost to portray various forms of beauty. The contents of his works are what constricted the sexual relationships which based on worship of female beauty, out of the male's desires for female, in the narrow space where there is nothing other than the sexual relations, excavated deeply natural instinct and opened up illusory and dreamlike art world before the reader's eyes. And then the sexual relations and the beauty reach the summit, when they integrating with the death. The west literature and Japanese classical literature have grate effects on his works, and there are the influences of his life.Tanizaki Jun'ichirou is well known throughout the world, and his fictions are queer and illusory and rich.
