Internet has played an increasingly important role in real life and brought a lot of changes. It has a profound impact to the individuals, so there are more and more psychologists concern this area, and it has been gradually formed a new psychological research field. The "human flesh search" on Internet change the traditional network information search to a kind of relational network community activity by using the modern information technology. In this virtual community, people are searched, asked, touched and crowed by each other.The "human flesh search" was originally a good moral expression. But due to the anonymity of the Internet and the spontaneity of the activity, it is difficult to control the scale of the behavior. The group views tend to be simple and aggressive and the individual is likely to lose the sense of responsibility during the "human flesh search". There are several reasons behind the negative impact of the activity, and the psychological reasons is an important one of them. To find out the psychological reasons will help us understand the inside motivation of the behavior, make the confused, mixed network become clearer, and enable individuals to find their position on the network. Further more, it will help regulate and restrain the non-rational or even violent behavior of the online people.This article believes that the main psychological reasons of the "human flesh search" behavior includes: deindividualization due to the anonymity of the Internet, group polarization due to the collective behavior, and the widespread pry desire. Section one: Research Review. First , introduced what was "human flesh search" , and the improper behavior when people doing "human flesh search". Second, introduced the definition of network group and network violence. Third, the theories about deindividualization, collective behavior and group polarization were given. And gave the opinion about how those phenomenon influence the "human flesh search". At last induced the Freud' theory about the pry desire.Section two: Research Design. This part included two online test and one offline test. The subjects are university students. The researches about the influences of deindividualization and group polarization to "human flesh search" have used online test. The survey about the pry desire has used offline test. And the results are as follows:(1)Online, the anonymous subjects were more brutal and more easily to be extreme than the non-anonymous ones.(2)Online, the subjects in a group formed by collective behavior were more easily to be extreme and more likely to appear verbal violence than the ones by their own.(3)Most subjects considered that the pry desire was a normal psychological need. And there was a considerable number of subjects confessed that they pried into the privacy of others before.Section three: Conclusion. This part made a review of the whole article, and reiterated the great influences of deindividualization, group polarization and pry desire to the "human flesh search" behavior. The author considered that, understanding the psychological reasons of the "human flesh search" would help prevent the network violence and extreme bebavior. At last, the author gave some suggestions about how to reduce the negative impact of the "human flesh search".
