Three Aspects Of Study On Lu Ji's Poems

Lu Ji was the first-class poet of Wei and Jin period, and also the representative writer of TaiKang poem style. His achievements are great and his poems' special features are also very clear. This text is mainly to analyze and discuss the verses of Luji from three different angles: characteristics of thought, aesthetic style and history of acceptance.The first part explores Lu Ji's unique personality and the influence of theories of Ru and philosophical sect in Wei and Jin dynasties on his poetic writing. With the special situation of the Three Kingdoms and the West Jin dynasty, the cultural background is also extremely complicated. Therefore, combined with Lu Ji's special family background with the cultural background at that time first, this thesis will start from the analysis of the character of Lu Ji and the characteristic of his thought, then analyze his poems from the angles of his thought of writing, his state of mind when composing, etc. and mainly investigate the source of its poems' topic.The second part is the study about the artistic features of Lu Ji's poems. Though many people have done much research about this, it's still not accurate, so I will begin with two disputatious problems and summarize other characteristics, that is , deeply true and sad emotion plus pure and fresh style, besides the main features of overelaborateness and flowery language, in consideration of the trend of thoughts and trend of appreciation.The third part is about the history of influence on successors. This thesis aims at doing a comprehensive research on the past criticism to Lu Ji's poems systematically. Because this problem covers a very long period of time, involves complicated historical materials and wide range of fields. It's really not a easy work. So this thesis mostly takes time as the main line to elaborate each period of acceptance. However, for the clues of acceptance is numerous and complicated in Qing dynasty, then I'll divide it into two parts: criticism and praise, it will be more clear and accurate.Finally, this paper discovers Lu Ji's influence on poems' topic and aesthetic style and analyzes the his poems' acceptance of the critics in every dynasties systematically from the angles of Lu Ji's state of mind when composing and his psychology.And the rest of the part, the problems to be settled concerning the history of Lu Ji's poems'acceptance are briefly discussed.
