CAI Dading(1823-?)He was one of the most outstanding poets in the late Ryukyu Kingdom and kept writing all his life.So far,he has circulated a total of eight volumes of poems,which are respectively:Lou Ke Lou Ji(with Yi Ji Cun You Cao to the back),Qin Si Tang Shi Wen Ji,Min Shan You Cao,Xu Qin Si Tang Shi Wen Ji,Sheng Lan Shi Wen Gao,Bei Shang Za Ji.At present,the research focus of the academic circle is on the three volumes of Youcao poems written by CAI Dading after he went to Fujian,and on the Miscellany of the Bei Shang Za Ji written by CAI Dading when he was begging for help in the process of the imperial crisis in Ryukyu.But in fact,the second book of Chinsitang,which was written during the period of Ryuu,is of some research value.It is of great significance to explore the life history of the literati class of Ryukyu represented by CAI Dading in the late period of Ryukyu,CAI Dading’s literary foundation,the appearance of communication between China and Ryukyu,and the acceptance of Ryukyu literati to Chinese culture.The first chapter discusses the multiple backgrounds of CAI Dading’s poetry creation.Sinicization education in Ryukyu began with the migration of the thirty-six Min people and developed gradually,which provided a mature Chinese learning environment for CAI Dading’s poetry creation.In addition,CAI’s profound family learning and CAI Dading’s personal friends all influenced his poetry creation.In addition to analyzing the background of CAI Dading’s poetry creation,this paper specifically discusses the reasons for the creation of the two volumes of Qin Si Tang,and separately examines the writing time of the two volumes,and finally defines the concept of "Qin Si Tang".The second chapter begins with the life history of literati in the late period and the exotic scenery of mountains and rivers to show the society of Ryukyu under CAI Dading’s pen.First of all,respectively from the system of sacred singing,daily official duties,singing friends three aspects to restore CAI Dading’s life.Secondly,This paper focuses on the exotic scenery of Ryukyu shown in the poems of "Eight Landscapes in Zhongshan" and "Eight landscapes in Naha",and explores the cultural connotation of the folding fans in Micro Ryukyu with the help of the gift of fans between Chinese and Ryukyu literati in correspondence.The third chapter mainly discusses the creation style of the second episode of Qinsi Tang.Firstly,through the systematic analysis of the sources of CAI Dading’s poems which are directly quoted or adapted,this paper analyzes the source of CAI Dading’s poems.Then,by summarizing the self-preface and other preface of CAI Dading’s two volumes of poetry collection,as well as the specific creation practice,the author concludes his creation proposition of "unity of emotions" and "poetic temperament" as well as the Confucian literary and artistic view.Secondly,it concretely analyzes the creation style of "fresh and elegant" and "deep and heavy" displayed in the two volumes of poetry collection.Finally,it analyzes the techniques and stylistic features of poetry creation from the aspects of poetry and prose.The fourth chapter aims to explore the receptivity of Chinese culture reflected in CAI Dading’s poems.The most influential is the Confucian culture of enlightenment,which is mainly reflected by CAI Dading’s ethics,the mandate of heaven,the Doctrine of the mean and the concept of gentleman.Secondly,Ryukyu adopted the imperial examination system to select scholars,and through the investigation of CAI Dading’s poems,it was concluded that Ryukyu was used as the "local examination".Secondly,this paper analyzes the influence of feng shui geography and calendar culture on CAI Dading through his travel notes and festival tribute poems.The last chapter mainly discusses the value significance of CAI Dading’s two works of Qin Si Tang,which are analyzed from three aspects:the significance of literary history,the significance of life history and the significance of Sino-Ryukyu communication.When the relevant historical materials have been lost,CAI Dading’s Chin Si Tang II opens a window for us to understand CAI Dading’s poetry creation,the life of literati in the late Ryukyu period,and the social status quo of Ryukyu.With the help of this window,we can further understand the current situation of friendly exchanges and cultural interweaving between China and Ryukyu,so it has great research significance and value.
