Study On Lou Jian's Poetry And Prose

The research object of this thesis is Lou Jian , who is one of " Four gentlemen of Jiading District" in Late Ming Dynasty. It is a long time that people study on Li Liufang and Cheng Jiasui who are more representational among them, but Lou Jian has many his own particularities except for that some common ground alike them . This thesis emphasizes particularly on the study of Lou Jian who is not enough concerned with, in order to give a more impersonal and veracious review and critique.In line with the principle which knowing one person through his or her generation, this article researches Lou Jian's life experiences which is based on a textual examination of his birth and death dates, his literature theory and his literature produces. Studying his life experiences, his personality spirit, it is valuable in helping us to understand the origin of the literary style produces and theory, and to realize the academic significance of it.This thesis chooses Lou Jian to study in order to make us know about the literary development of his period. At the same time, we study Lou Jian within the entire research frame of "Four gentlemen of Jiading District", and to locate Lou Jian's status in this group. This must help to appraise him more reasonably and more correctly in the Chinese Literature history finally.
