The Research Of Mei Zengliang And His "Bai Jian Shan Fang Collected Works"

Tongcheng School,as an important literary school in the history of Chinese literature,exists in the time span comparable to the Qing Dynasty.Mei Zengliang as an important member of Tongcheng School,made a certain degree of achievements in writing,and his works also reflects a lot of his own literary ideas and personality.He and Guan Tong,Yao Ying and Fang Dongshu were known as “Four Excellences of Yao Group”.The position of Mei Zengliang in Tongcheng School was only after Three Founders of Tongcheng School.Analysis of the reasons,firstly it was because his literary thought had been inherited and developed in the development of Tongcheng School and secondly it was also because his literary proposition had developed his Master Fang Bao and Yao Ding in practice.Mei's language environment changing greatly,played a leading role in the cultural development of Tongcheng School and also changed Tongcheng School in a certain degree.The academic circle has researched the Tongcheng School for almost a century,but in which there is a little special research to Mei Zengliang so it has no details on the explanation on him.Currently,the academic research to Tongcheng School with the theme of Mei Zengliang is emphasis on the research to thought and theory of prose creation.Mei's literary study mostly base on specific time and seeking truth.According to that,when explanation of literature of Mei Zengliang,the understanding of his unity and how he reflected Tongcheng School during the literary creation should be deeply and systematically studied in order to better understand Mei Zengliang and his writings.The article is divided into five parts in writing and the conclusion mainly introduces the origin and development of Tongcheng School,the academic study and evaluation of Tongcheng School and summary of present study status of Mei Zengliang.The first chapter mainly introduces Mei's life,i.e life experience and extensive friend-making of Mei Tongliang,theory of literary creation and its expression.The second chapter mainly studies hid literary ideas and thoughts.The third chapter further discusses the poem and prose style of his “Bai Jian Shan Fang Collected Works” in view of Mei Zengliang's literary ideas.On the basis of seeking truth,the poems express the true feelings and emotions,and pomes and prose are interpreted.The forth chapter mostly explains the literature connotation of “Bai Jian Shan Fang Collected Works”.The writer takes the second,third and forth chapters as the main body of the article in which comprehensively study to the literary thoughts of “Bai Jian Shan Fang Collected Works” is carried out.In the final part of the article,through the overall interpretation and study of Mei Zengliang,it can give him a more accurate sound positioning in literary history and provides a further historical reference for the research of Tongcheng School in future.
