As one of the basic ways of social activities, Bulgarian folk music continues in holiday parties, gatherings and other activities, through which music is experienced and music artistry is passed on in family. However, rural, national, ethnic groups and individuals influence music descending at different times and in different ways as well. All of these prove that music is closely connected with society and culture in every aspect, changing with culture. To place music in the social background composed by people of different social status and to regard music as the result of human's general social process and cognitive process, will not only promote the use of multiple perspectives and multidisciplinary approach to interpret a particular piece of music "content" under certain cultural background, but also help us out of music-pure epistemology, and into the experiencing area of social music acts for music understanding.The diversity of music reflects the relation between music and the survival of human or the relation between music and the survival of culture. To respect the complexities of globalization, the integrity of culture, and to regard music as a life practice is not only a challenge to the traditional theory of musical pedagogy, but also a reflection on the current model of school music education. All of these enlighten us that in the contemporary social and cultural background as well as the transitional period of academic theory, with the researching horizon of "humanities", the unity of musical culture and the necessity of the connection between musical research and other fields should be understood through anthropology, phenomenology, hermeneutics, and other multidisciplinary perspectives; so that a research focuses on the understanding of the subject of the people may be reached. These will definitely further our understanding of folk music education and the music descending out of school, and also will be a great breakthrough to the traditional theoretical framework of music education which is significant to a further reflection on a new principle of musical pedagogy.
