Although there's big difference between the individual original creation novels and Nihuaben Novels in the late Ming dynasty, the latter still shows the compiler's obvious value tendency in choosing and processing theme. This article selects "SanYan","ErPai","HuanXiYuanJia" and "XiHuErJi" which can reflect the culture characteristic at that time; Studies carefully the Buddhism theme and the complier's opinion in these novels; tries hard to inspect common thoughts and the culture & religion condition in that society. This article contains three chapters. The introduction sums up the present research situation ,the topic significance and the research method. The first chapter studies "SanYan" and "ErPai" analyzes the author's different attitudes towards the Zen master and the non-Zen master and the reason of these differences; tracks down the Zen thoughts source; discovers the key point why the Zen master can adhere to "the sexy abstention" strictly. This thought tendency, combining with the fusion of Confucianism and Buddhism in the latter Ming dynasty and the reconsideration trendy, reveals which Feng and Ling chosen in Buddhism, and then returned to the traditional Confucianism after reconsidering Wang Xue.The second chapter inquires why Xihu Yuyinzhuren declared the "Refraining from killing" thoughts vigorously, according to his unusual value choice in " HuanXiYuanJia " ; analyzes compiler's religious reconsideration and his understanding to the secular culture spirit after he had influenced by the Buddhism pure land thought; Sorts out the latter Ming dynasty Buddhism tendency—Many sects belong to Pure land Buddhism , as well as the literator's internal culture cause of "abandons Zen turn over to Pure land" in the pure land thought current. The third chapter studies Zhou Qingyuan's "XiHuErJi" ; straightens out the philosophical basis of "the Zen and Pure land Buddhism unites"; examines carefully the entire cultural reconsideration trend, expanding on from the fusion of Confuciansim and Buddhism to the cultural background of "the Confucianism, Buddhism, Daoism unites" in the latter Ming dynasty. The remaining of the article considers the research method and scope, and proposes the more comprehensive system for research direction.
