Primary Research On Chefoo Customs (1861-1911)

Chefoo Customs is the only open port in Shandong province in a long time at late Qing dynasty .it have a enormous affect on modern Shandong'economy.But in a long time, The academe have no much attention to this theme . There are few introductions about its beginning , settings and working . My paper depends on Chefoo Customs files, after interpretion and in the course of writings , following the principles of history,geography, sociology.First, This thesis give a brief review about the financial center's transformation. From Dengzhou to Yantai, this is the result that external power impacts. Then give a introduction of Chefoo Customs' settings and transformations ,internal organizations and working, native and foreign clerk.Try to find the truth in a background of transformation era.The emphasis and innovation of this article is the revenue and distribution in the research of the change of the framework and the amount revealing the condition of external trade.In the chapter three, revealing the condition of foreign goods' entry to inwards , and the Jiaodong natives reaction to this change .At last, I give a summary of excuse for Chefoo Cutoms' declination.Those .analysises and conclusions have an active real significance of expansion of Yantai's economy's size,and of promotation to Yantai's economic level.
