| In recent researches on teaching Chinese as foreign language (TCFL), more and more scholars begin to be aware of that the exercises play an important role in the textbooks, especially in the oral textbooks. Professor LIU Xun proposes a suggestion that "exercises should be the principle part of a language textbook instead of being considered as attached to the textbook". But our researchers in exercises of Chinese language books are still not enough to meet the need of the practices. Therefore, we decide to do some studies on the elementary-level oral Chinese textbooks, try to find some problem of those exercises. On the basic of different kinds of textbook-composing theories, the thesis, by data analyzing, studies the exercises of five elementary-level oral Chinese textbooks from the view of the content, purpose, quantity and style, etc. With the data, the thesis tries to sum up the fundamental modes of composing elementary-level Chinese textbooks (used for TCFL), and further more, to analyze the strongpoint and shortcoming of them. Besides, on the basic of exact analyzing and combining theories with actual cases, this thesis proposes some new points of view on 5 issues which need more discussion, such as the quantity of exercises, culture teaching, the order of exercises and practice in group, etc. At last, with referring to the textbook-composing theories, evaluating theories, some other experience of textbook-composing and certain excellent foreign textbooks, thesis provides suggestions on the future textbook-composing. |
