A Study Of The Lijiaya Culture

Since the 1930s,the bronzeware,which are the later period of Shang Dynasty,have frequently unearthed in the Yellow River valley in Shaanxi and Shanxi province,but we haven't learned the cultural identity,because there's no informal archaeological excavation,since the excavation of Lijiaya ancient city in 1983.Basic on the original material,integrating new archaeological sources,and taking into account previous studies,the author analyzes the bronze culture.With the method of archaeological stratigraphy,typology,and comparative typology,the author divide the culture into several stages,and analyses the cultural elements.Then the author inferred that the culture is Lijiaya Culture,which is the relics of the small coutury.And the country are p arallel,influented,hostile of the culture of Shang Dynasty.Basic on this,the author discusses the cultural connotation and characteristics,geographical distribution,the relationship with the adjacent culture,socio-economic patterns, spiritual and cultural and other issues.The study of Lijiaya Culture can be indirectly related to the culture of Shang Dynasty and Prezhou Dynasty and northern remote areas.
