They can research it very deeply but not comprehensively and we can just feel the state of the limited social status.However, The Neo-sensualist try their best to describe the city, where they live and grow up, to portray people's life beyond the limits of others. We could see lower estate who were making a living, businessmen who were corrupted by capitalist ideology and those deceptive dealers etc. Their attention mainly focus on the confused person who are influenced by the civilization developed in west and they don't depict the city and man as reality. On the contrary, they feel them through their own feelings, minds and experiences together with the readers. When refer to the people living in the modern city, they illustrate their insanity, corruption, luxury and dissipation. When they refer to the city, they tell about its stoniness, strangeness, and the oppression to man. In cities morality is trampled, the traditional loving systems are destroyed, and all the people have lost families. They walk on the boundless wilderness without any purpose lifelessly. The buildings in the city overlook and watch people and make them stay there nakedly, and at the same time people become the appendixes of the city. They couldn't find themselves and didn't relate to families, they just live like a drunk. In the city, we couldn't find the person like the diligent Xiang zi and the heroic Wu Sunfu. Why do we live in the world and what is the goal of our life, no one can answer the question and no one wants to find the answer. This is just the state of the city at that time.
