Study On The Provincial-level Administrative Region Of The Early Qing Dynasty (1644-1684)

Province,initially as for temporary officials in ancient China, but as a local maximum administrative divisions is from the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty . Provincial itself with the royal government agencies and local government to the double identity, will help further strengthen the central government to local control .There is the Officers Governor, Zongdu(总督),Xunfu(巡抚)and other official in Provincial level, as an important part of the political system history ,the imperial inspector system particular in the academic system has long been a concern . For the late Qing Dynasty Dufu(督抚)area is the area of the province has been widely recognized in conclusions scholars. But the beginning of the Qing Dynasty province area has little concern . By the early Qing Dynasty, Dufu and Governors, the area with the Officers provincial-level relations between the inquiring, inspected the provincial-level administrative region the Officers Governors area or area.The current dissertation is mainly composed of the following parts:The first part dealt with the Yuan and Ming Dynasties Province during the formation and evolution, Provincial become a local administrative divisions began in the Yuan Dynasty .Province during the Ming Dynasty to repeal the name, and in fact depositors .Provincial power have been split into three. And the Officers in charge of the Financial and Civil affairs, The Officers of the area are a "Province" area. Late Ming Dynasty, Placed in the local Governor, governor; although much steers the three Governors Secretary trend, but they are not the official local officialsThe second part, deal with early Qing Dynasty inheritance and development to the political system of Ming Dynasty. After-entry, the Qing Dynasty inherited the Officers of Ming Dynasty's 13th Province. South Chili has changed Jiangnan province; and resumed Dufu.The third part inspected the changes in the Provincial-level administrative region of early Qing Dynasty. Jiangnan Provinces carries out a detailed analysis as an example.
