From the 1950s in last century to the beginning of this century, the produce of the Xie Jin's film had cross over fifty years. It holds the most important position in the history of the Chinese film. The understanding of Xie Jin's film had always caused the controversy in the academe world. But there is a vacancy which to explore the negative character in Xie Jin's film. In this paper I try to research the text of Xie Jin's film from the negative character in his film, to summarize the characteristic and evolvement of the negative character in Xie Jin's film. Through this main clue, I want tidy up the another aspect of Xie Jin's film. After my research, I found some characteristics of the dualistic antitheses structure that exists in the negative character in Xie Jin's film. On the other hand, the negative character has influenced by the change of the time. And it remodels continually by itself in the changes. At the fourth part of the paper, I expatiate the characteristic of negative character from the gender aspect. And the last part of the paper, I researched how to express the time characteristic when the negative characters as a group. Try to discuss the changes' tracks of the crowd, the individual and the times. Through the amply discussion, this paper probe into the mainstream ideology of the Xie Jin's film, and how to figure the political ideology through the set of binary contradictory between the negative character and decent role. Besides, through the picture myth, Xie Jin had created a ravine from the writer, the times and the works to the audience, the times and the readers.
