Wang Shixian, the-first-chief-marshal in Gongchang rose in the Northwest seesaw battle between Jin and Xixia. From Yuan Dynasty to the late Years of Emperor Wanli of Ming Dynasty, Gongchang was hereditarily ruled by Wang's family for four hundreds Years, which was the rare military exploit old and well-known family of Longyou. With the rise of Mongolia, in order ro cope with two-sided battle, Jin drew the Tubo tribe of Gongchang to take part in the battle, in which Wang Shixian rose. After Jin Dynasty, Wang surrendered to Mongolia as the avant garde to attack Sichuan of Southern Song Dynasty. Wang's offspring such as Wang Dechen,Wang Liangchen,Wang Weizheng and Wang Weixiao made great contribution on the Frontline in Sichuan and to suppress rebellion against Hubilie, who attracted Hubilie's favour and took the chief offices in province, driving the family to the Summit. There were other famous persons among Wang's family during the late Yuan Dynasty, such as Wang Shouchang and Wang Jianu. Wang Jianu held the post of Taishi for eight years during the period, who held the power in and out of the court. There were sixteen members of Wang's family held the office of the-chief- marshal in Gongchang. Wang Yong, the last the-chief-marshal, surrendered to Ming Dynasty and still hereditarily governed Gongchang.In view of Li Tan's rebellion, Hubilie abolished military power and hereditary of the Han nationality, but Wang's family was not included. This thesis believes that successful marriage with Mongolia loyal family and the important functions in preventing northwest rebellion of Mongolia princes were the political guarantee for the flourishing of Wang's family. The family's effective Control of Salt Well was the economic basis for holding powerful battle effectiveness.
