| Wu Yi(1745-1799),style xugu xiaoshi,named banshishanren,was born in Yanshi city of Henan province.He was famous as a scholar of Confucian, literature and especially in the field of epigraphy in the period of Qianjia. He was an important person of the Hanxue in Henan province with an admiration of Confucianism and practice. But unitle now,there are no detailed annals of WuYi,In order to solving this problem,the thsis makes a careful review of WuYi's pedigee.First,it has a brief research into the birth place of Wu Yi;Second,it tries to list all of WuYi'slife year after year exactly and nicelyon the basis of concerned research about him;Third,it confirms writting time of his most creations;Fourth,some concerned literature sources,and some research articles have negligence mistakes,even errors about WuYi's life and essays.This present thesis corrects these.The thesis was divided into following Parts:The brief biography: Making a brief introduction towards Wu's family,making some remarks on the related issues.The chronological biography: Making the chronicle by list Wu's life and experience.
