Research On The Ancient History Of China Edited By Zhu Shaohou

The research object of this article is The Ancient History of China of the 90's third revised edition. The teaching material is compiled by scholars of ten academies and edited by Professor Zhu Shaohou. This paper aimed to do an overall introduction and a preliminary research of the teaching material, and dedicated to comb the compilation of this kind teaching material.This article simply introduced Zhu Shaohou's academic experiences and achievements, narrated the writing reasons and its historical background,combed the edition evolution and its characteristics, introduced the teaching material's historical frame and the theory instruction, summarized the characters about the content arrangement, and also specified the work's viewpoint and the writing utilization in the material.This article dedicates to affirm the achievement the material achieved through a series of careful research and a thorough comparison, and also points out the shortcoming and the insufficiency because of the subjective and objective reasons, and make a just appraisement with my great effort.
