Strictly speaking,the time when has ancient Greek and Roman history disciplines in China,is after 1949.The fundamental reason why such an important discipline has appeared so late is that China has fallen far behind the world in modern times.This topic will conduct a comparatively systematic analysis of the spread,research,and influence of the ancient Greek and Roman history in China in 17 years after the founding of the country,filling the blanks of the development of Chinese historiography and the study of Greek and Roman history.The full text is divided into preface and text.The preface includes the origin of the selected topic,research prospects and current research status,relevant literature review,and research on the history of Greece and Rome prior to the founding of the People’s Republic of China,which serves as background information for this paper to understand the history of Greece and Rome before the founding of the People’s Republic of China and paves the way for this writing.The first chapter discusses the material translation and preliminary research of ancient Greek and Roman history.The author will analyze the preparation condition for the ancient Greek and Roman historical materials after the founding of the People’s Republic of China through the translation of classical works of ancient Greek and Roman history,the translation of historical works of Soviet scholars,and the discussion of ancient Greek and Roman issues by Chinese scholars.The second chapter is the formation of personnel training and teaching system.It mainly manifestes the expansion and enrichment of the teaching team(take Northeast Normal University world ancient history graduates class as an example)and the remarkable results of textbook compilation in scientific research.The third chapter introduces the representative scholars of the study and teaching of ancient Greek and Roman history in China from 1949 to 1966,including Taishan Beidou Lin Zhichun,a generation of great master Lei Haizong,a history scholar Yan zonglin,a teaching pioneer Chen Tongxie and a pioneer of exploration path Wu Yujin.This chapter mainly describes their lives and their contributions to the teaching and research of ancient Greek and Roman history.The fourth chapter is the reason and characteristics of the teaching and research of Greek and Roman history.The author summarizes the studies on the history of Greece and Rome from 1949 to 1966.It mainly discusses the reasons for the study of the history of Greek and Roman teaching,the main features of Greek and Roman history teaching and research,and the limitations in the study of Greek and Roman history teaching. |
