Decorative patterns are carrier of the described objects and they always beautify the described objects. In the long labor process of human being, people are generally regarding the good luck patterns as the text format of beautified environment and decorated life. They mark the people's aesthetic appreciation has gradually come to maturity. Meanwhile, the converging function of aesthetic appreciation makes the good luck patterns perfect. The outstanding feature of good luck patterns in Ming and Qing dynasty is the patterns contain abundant meanings. Those abundant meanings represent unique Chinese cultural concepts which passed from one generation to another.Those concepts must contain nominated significance which can express the populace will. They also must accurately reflect the demotic social activities and also have community meaning. Numerous good luck patterns contain complicated contents. If divided by the good luck contents and concepts, they can use blessing, official pay, longevity, happiness and wealth to generalize. Those five objects consign good wishes and play up delighted atmosphere. The prosperity of the good luck patterns in the Ming and Qing dynasty are the result of evolutional accumulation in the previous and the current dynasty. They also reflect the unique character in the development of the good luck patterns and historical characters and the formation regulation when the good luck patterns are regarded as the design art.
