On Nonverbal Way In The Communication

From 1960's, researches of nonverbal way have been being in the ascendant. But because every scholar's angle of research is different, the particular emphasis on point about research of nonverbal way is also different. This paper firstly makes an overview about the realm and the production of research of nonverbal way, the scholars of research realm are mainly in nonverbal intercourse of definition, the relation between nonverbal way and language, the research of classification on nonverbal way, property of nonverbal way, characteristic research of nonverbal way, the function of nonverbal way, research of cross-cultural nonverbal intercourse, nonverbal intercourse theories of practical research etc. and obtain abundant result.Scholars researched characteristics and function of the nonverbal way oneself, some others do a static research on the action of nonverbal way act on language ,they have not understood(or they have understood but no one gave more of attention) that nonverbal way should be distinguished into Automatic Processing and Control Processing, and this kind of distinction in communicative intention of deduce to have importance of meaning; it is also weaker at how nonverbal way combine with language together to construct the meaning .The meaning in this paper is from the dynamic state——the angle of nonverbal way and language combine together——discussed how nonverbal way get involved the communicative process, the influence of nonverbal way on the deduce of communicative intention and nonverbal way mainly undertake meaning of which constitute composition. Base on the research of people of the past, we divided the nonverbal way into Automatic Processing and Control Processing as the different way of process, then we discussed the action of nonverbal way on the understanding of communicative intention. The we discussed how the Control Processing which is weaker influenced the comprehending of communicative process :to speaker, the Control Processing will make the nonverbal way have more atmosphere and credibility; to listener ,when he will search the nonverbal way cue to make sure the communicative intention of the speaker when he do not deduce the communicative intention by language or he do not believe the contextual effect. Then we discussed how the nonverbal way make of the meanings as a emphasis, firstly we divided the meanings into component of intention,component of thing,component of emotion and component of image, then we reviewed the concrete contents when nonverbal way make of the components ,and we try to tell the conditions when nonverbal way was used. Base on the limit when nonverbal way was used to express the intention and the thing and the image, we concluded that it mainly made up the component of emotion. At the end , by reviewing one of the special way of the nonverbal way——the image-sign(net-sign for short) in the network communication, we concluded that nonverbal way was a absolutely necessary component and we often used it to achieve some especial effect, at the same time ,by observing the type of net-sign and the type of making up of the meaning ,we confirmed the lemma that nonverbal way was mainly a component of emotion.Nonverbal way can participate in the communicate course and work with language, there are two reasons. First, nonverbal way is essentially a kind of physiology phenomena, people ever used it before the second signal system, second, compared to language, it is more intuitionist, from the economic principal, we still used nonverbal way, it is necessary as well as possible.Based on summarizing the former scholars'research, we rescan nonverbal way from a new angle, we found that nonverbal can be divided into Automatic Processing and Control Processing, then we discussed Automatic Processing and Control Processing in linguistics way. How nonverbal way make up the meanings was a question that scholars did not discuss, this paper emphasized the situation in which nonverbal way participate, then we concluded by net-sign: nonverbal way was necessary component of meanings, it was mainly a component of emotion. At the end, we discuss the necessity and possibility of the nonverbal way in which participate the communicate course across-the-board.
