Zhang Chengzhi is a complicated writer with colorful expressions. He is writing in the Chinese literature in his exclusive way, which once caused a debate over him. Taken a throughout look at his composing career, a sense of resistance and expression will be found, especially in his "post-sprit-history" phase. It serves as an angle of studying that how Zhang Chengzhi established a set of expressing ways and urgently expressed his thoughts over history and the social reality. In this system, the core of his composing is his resistance; the form is his expression, which is the way through which the meaning appeared. The resistance of Zhang Chengzhi' s writing takes place between history and reality, which is the communicate path of the write with the problems and situations.This article studies Zhang' s resistance through three aspects: Firstly, his resistance against other cultures, which shown in his analysis and concerns over Chinese nation and ethnic nations around, as well as in his worries of Chinese being influenced by the colonialism. Secondly, Zhang' s feedback on the literates' utterance are shown mainly in his criticism of Chinese literates' avoidance of responsibility and his insistence over integrated writing of literates and the crowd. Thirdly, Zhang Chengzhi' s resistance writing is virtually a return of Lu Xun' s literature tradition, which has shown in the initiative resistance.This resistance made Zhang' s writing a voice of expression. His way of writing broke the frame on traditional writing, which itself has been a resistance of literature. Zhang Chengzhi' s expression system features in the following aspects: Firstly, focus more on he content of writing but not the frame or skills; secondly, build a backing for the principal subject; thirdly, utilize suitable language, such as resonance, bi-lingual languages, setting-towards languages. Zhang Chengzhi' s way of writing excludes itself from the new age "pure literature" , showing a style of "no style" . But from the strong sense of history and reality, his writing is a return of realism.
