Research On Ritual Vessels Of Shandong Longshan Culture

Shandong Longshan Culture is an important archaeological culture in Haidai region of the lower reach of Yellow River, which had played the role in the process of social civilization in Haidai region. A lot of remains belonged to civilized factors—the city sites, the ritual remains, the ritual vessels, the oracle bones and so on, had been discovered in Shandong Longshan Culture. The ritual vessels are one of important factors in the process of social civilization of Shandong Longshan Cuture.At present, the academia hasn't yet come up with the standard of the ritual vessels, and hasn't systematically researched about ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture. Based on the research on ritual and the system of ritual, this article defines the standard of the ritual vessels, which lays the theoretical foundation for the research on the ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture. Then, this article introduces the characteristic and the connotation of Shandong Longshan Culture, which lays the archaeological foundation for the research on the ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture. According to the standard of the ritual vessels, this article thinks a combination of ritual vessels—the pottery ritual vessels including black potteries, white pottery Gui, etc, the jade ritual vessels including jade crown jewel, jade tomahawk, jade adz, etc, the ritual vessels for playing music, had formed during Shandong Longshan Culture. On base of the research, this article makes the discussion about the overall characteristic, inheritance, evolution and influence of the ritual vessels belonged to Shandong Longshan Culture. Besides, this article makes an analysis about the artistic characteristic of the ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture. Finally, this article discusses the relationship between ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture and the origin of civilization. The main purpose of this article is to provide a system model for the research on the development of ritual vessels of Haidai region and other regions of Neolithic Age, by researching ritual vessels of Shandong Longshan Culture.
