At present, the production and consumption of the historical TV series of China,especially "the historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" has been showing theprosperous situation. The "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" trend tocontinue for the high audience rating as well as high efficiency. On the other hand, ithas won widespread attention of academe for its unique research value.Based on the "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" as study model, thethesis introduces the method of comparative analysis in the thorough pectination ofdefinition, types, development of the "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China".It then analyzes the narrative charm of it from the angle of visual signifier system,characters narration and lens narration.Finally, it gives an overall grasp of the "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty inChina" pointing out the advantages and disadvantages and making the propercountermeasures. Thus, we can draw a conclusion that the "historical TV series ofQing Dynasty in China" is not only a kind of space-time art, but the audio-visual art.Its forming the types of narrative characters and the diversification of lens narrationscenes make the "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" still be potent forceafter many years. However, because of its blind pursuit of the effect of entertainmentand secularization, it gradually lost the historical materialism. As a result, the current"historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" are facing serious challenges. If itcan combine the historical materialism with the pursuit of entertainment andsecularization organically, and deduct the history of Qing Dynasty under the currentsocial environment, the "historical TV series of Qing Dynasty in China" will be sureto compose its brilliance in the history of development of Chinese TV series.
