As the main approach of limited narration, the first-person narration hasn't got fully developed before late Qing Dynasty:most of the novels use what "I" saw and heard to link all kinds of stories, but show little feelings and life experience of "mine", and the narrator "I" was just a narrative tool to make a inner-connection of novel. However, Su Manshu, a genius in late Qing Dynasty, has broken this situation. He uses the first-person narration to write novels spontaneously, gave prominence to the feelings of the characters and the individual consciousness of the author, which shows the advantage of the first-person narration in creating strong feelings. To some extent, Su Manshu's novels reflected the awakeness of creative and modern narrative consciousness in late Qing Dynasty.
