A Study On The Narrative Features Of The Literary Tales Of The Tang Dynasty

This thesis takes Literary Tales of the Tang Dynasty as its caseobject and coordinates and summarizes the narrative theory of theChinese classical short story. During the process of studying, consultingthe western narrative theory system, taking the relevant concepts andcategories, reading the novel text carefully, explaining Literary Tales ofthe Tang Dynasty by modern meaning. This thesis will study LiteraryTales of the Tang Dynasty preliminarily from the angle of narration inorder to find the unique cultural code of Chinese classical narration.This thesis is made up of introduction, text and conclusion. In thebeginning, the article has introduced the present research dynamic statusof this subject. The text is divided into five parts. First, it is about thenarrative structure. It appeared the characters of pattern and board shape.The authors had made the narrative structure tend to be strict andcomplete by setting up "the eyes of structure ". Second, it is about thenarrative logic. In narrative logic of the Literary Tales of the TangDynasty, Pointing out that its main models are revenge, repaying andobligation, admonishment awakening and so on. Third, it is about thenarrative visual angle. This part sketches the diversity and the charactersof various kinds of narrative visual angle of the Literary Tales of the TangDynasty. Fourth, it is about the narrative time. As for narrative "timingprocess" and "distorting the time" on purpose can be seen everywhere.The narrative skills such as narrating in order, reversing narration,inserting narration, supplementing narrating and narrating in advanceconstitute the unique narrative time order of the Literary Tales of the TangDynasty. Finally, The conclusion summarizes the basic content of this thesis, pointing out the research meaning of this subject.Literary Tales of the Tang Dynasty were outstanding in the history ofChinese classical novels. Their appearances demonstrated that Chineseclassical novels had escaped from the bondages of Zi and history, and hadturned ripe. In LuXun' s "the Recapitulate History of Chinese Novel" itwas pointed out that the people "wrote novels on purpose" Thereinforcement of the narrative art was the important emblem of theturning ripe of the Literary Tales of the Tang Dynasty. Using narrativetheory to excavate, arrange and study narrative art of the Tang, willhave an important role not only on carrying on Trend of thought inChinese ancient literature and art, but also on developing, improvingChinese current narrative and literary theory system.
