| Chen Zi-long (1608-1647), is a person of integrity and one of the famousest author in the end of Ming Dynasty. In the early Chongzhen Reigon, he joined the Fu Association, led by Zhang Pu and Zhang Cai, and in the mean time, he organized Ji Association with Xia Yun-yi, Xu Fu-yuan,and Zhou Li-xun, etc. In Chongzhen Ten-year, he was enrolled as Scholars(Jinshi), and his hierophant was Huang dao-zhou ,a notable official. At the mourning period for his stepmother, he printed two masterpieces: The Collection of Ming Economy-Politics and The Collection of Agriculture. After Chongzhen Thirteen-year, he took post of Judge assessor of Shaoxing, and in the position, he acquired comprehensive praise. When Ming perished, he participated the Resistance Movement, and in the failure, he Sacrificed his life for Ming Dynasty, showing the Heroic of National integrity.Chen Zi-long is a famous author of Shi-poem and Ci-poems, the leader of the Yun-jian Faction elected by people of then time. In the literature ,he claims to succeed to the tradition of Former and Latter Seven Scholars, with the trend returning to the ancients. Predecessors called him the last among the winners in the Shi-poems of Ming Dynasty. The style of his Shi-poems is generous and heroic. The contents of his Shi could be called history written by verses, reflecting the reality in the late Ming Dynasty, full of wind of times. The accomplishment of his ci-poems is more outstanding, and once was called the first Ci-writer in the Ming Dynasty by Tan Xian. The style of his Ci-poems ,fluent and gentle, lingering and plaintive, brings him with feminization. Reached to the Ming Dynasty ,Ci-poem is in the trough, at the mean time, during holding high the flag of Graceful and Restrained Faction, Chen Zi-long guided the reconstruction of Qing-Ci with the ways of returning to the ancients. In the prose, he is also a master. Wu Wei-ye once said,"His verse of four or six words exceeded the Xu and Yu, and his Argumentation and Essay on contemporary politics keeped pace with Two-Su's."This chronicle biography tries to widely collect the data of Chen Zi-long's life and experience as well as related historical material, in order to sort out , verify and finally make a textual research of them .The main researches as follow:I. Basically sorting the chronology of Chen Zi-long's life and experience, and having made some explanations and proofreading about some non-detailed and ambivalent issues. II.
