As many important files about artistic education and quality education issued by government, artistic education has become more significant. That makes it possible that the artistic education of colleges and universities can enjoy fast speed of development. However, there are still several deficiencies in the effectiveness, level and depth of the public artistic education development in Chinese colleges and universities. In author's opinion, the root cause of the common artistic education developing in dilemma is the delaying of the research in art education theory and delaying of the art education test. The most direct and important reason lies in the shortage of one set of scientific standard public artistic education system which fits higher education well in practice. For these reason above mentioned, it is necessary to make investigation, analysis and research of public artistic curriculum in college and universities.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:Part I is about introducing the related content of public artistic education and curriculum system. The object of public artistic education is to popularizing art to the non-professional students. The main goal is to exert a favorable influence to students as well as to grow them with the ability of sensibility, imagination, observation and creation through various ways of teaching them art theories and appreciating art works as well as using the practical pattern of appreciation and creation. Public artistic course is the sum of learning activities of students with teachers' guidance. It always shows as the curriculum system, which including elements of: course goals, course content, course conducting and etc. The elements constitute one complete system, which play an important role in the artistic education progress.Part II is about the analysis of national and international public artistic curriculum system reform, which is discussed from four aspects: Firstly, author gives a brief introduction of the history and situation of public artistic education of colleges and universities in and abroad China. Secondly, comparison of the domestic public artistic course systems and foreign curriculum system is made. Through the comparison research of the related material, the differences of practical situation of public artistic education are revealed and the existing problems in Chinese public artistic curriculum system are found. Thirdly, author delves into the reforming tendency of the domestic and foreign public art curriculum system. Finally, author proposes reform measures to the public artistic curriculum system in China. The measures are mainly discussed in following aspects: reposition of the course object, the selection and supplementation of the course content, adjustment and optimization of the course structure, the improvement of conducting and evaluation of public artistic course and etc.Part III takes some colleges and universities in Gansu Province for example. Through means of questionnaire and discussion, the major existing problems in Gansu Province are analyzed on basis of the study of reference materials. In addition, the author offers some reform advices from the angles of developing characteristics courses, enhancing the construction of teaching staff, strengthening the consulting and conducting of public artistic course and broadening artistic education ways.Finally, the above mentioned study is summarized and some question will be continually researched. |
