Research On WangXiang's Works Of Oracle Bone Inscriptions

Oracle bone inscriptions is one of the most important discoveries in human's history. Many scholars has studied those inscriptions profoundly since discovered,which made this subject become a booming field of study, more and more important. Wang Rang was one of the scholars who foused on this subject,therefore people often notices the Chinese scolars like Lou Zhengyu,Wang Guowei,and the importance of Wang Rang's study was often overlooked by later scholars.This thesis analysed the reasons for the later scholars' ignorance of him and the ways and achivements in the studies of Oracle Bone Inscriptions. At the same time ,some mistakes in his studies have been analysed in order to help and enlighten the later studies on Oracle Bone Inscriptions.This thesis' structure can be divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction which represents the meaning and methods of this essay and Wang Rang's life. The second one is a conspectus about his studies. Part three and part four are mainly studying Fu Room Yin Agreement Article and Fu Room Yin Agreement Article compiliation. The last part is an addenda which has counted Fu Room Yin Agreement Article's character piece number which has not separated the oracle inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty Magistrate surely to have wrong characters'piece number as well as the Magistrate has not decided.
