Feasibility Study On Guangzhou Opera House

Guangzhou Opera House is the main culture and city facility in Guangzhou Municipal that built during "11th five-year plan". The approved project proposal says that her construction's orientation is top in domestic, and takes the lead of the world. Her construction scale includes an 1800 seats theatre and a 400 seats multipurpose theatre. The whole project holds the area of 42,393 m~2. The scheming investment is over 1,400 million Yuan RMB. After she is built, she would be the best center for the performing arts in south-china. She will be the art's palace that develop elegant art and push forward international culture interflow. For the sake of mistake avoidance of decision, we study its feasibility base on project proposal.This thesis commences with engineering project construction management formalities, research feasibility study world widely applied currently and its problems existed in our country. Took the opportunity of the feasibility study on Guangzhou opera house, investigated civic market for performance and famous opera house all over the world, discuss the necessity of Guangzhou constriction project; according to the request of content of feasibility study, collected a massive of information and data of opera house construction and of the main markets for performance, and classified those information and data. Then I adopted the knowledge which learned from my master of PM program in the past two years to analyze those information and data in detail. Such as, SWOT method is used to analyzed the internal and external environment of this project; establishes the investment risk quantificational value system and estimates the lost of Guangzhou opera house project; and made a strict technique economic analysis,financial assessment and social evaluation for this project, put forth the proposition and reach the conclusion that Guangzhou opera house project is feasible. The thesis also draw a timetable of project implement and the organization structure diagram of both phases of project construction an operation. Because of paper's length and writing's emphases, the thesis doesn't narrate procedure of some special technique areas, such as election of parameter of stage machinery, lighting and acoustics, and comparisons of precept of the puilding and construction .But calculate and fill the form of investment provisional estimate base on the elected models of equipments and construction precepts, and put it into addendum I, so consequently use those data on series analysis.At present, Guangzhou opera house is building. Up to now, 30% work has been finished. In the process of project implement, some of problems that thesis put forth was validated, particularly the risk of technique and rising valuation of RMB etc that mentioned notably on chapter risk analysis.
