| Shimaoshizhuanshu is a book on which Chen Huan spent his lifetime. With a lot of quotation from books, this book explains Maozhuan from the writing, explanations, the name, the collating and so on. Chen Huan's opinion was unique, so his book was recognized as a representative work on the study of Shijing in the Qing Dynasty. This article attempts to explain Shimaoshizhuanshu from the following three aspects.First, Chen Huan generalized the style of Maozhuan on the word meaning, sentence righteousness, chapter meaning and chapter primary intention. At the same time, Chen Huan also provided more powerful evidence. This article summed up the method and the achievement of Shimaoshizhuanshu on explaining Maozhuan.Second, this article also analyses Zhuanshu's style of explaining the function words.Finally, using the collating knowledge and materials, Chen Huan comprehensively collated Maozhuan, and tried hard to return Maozhuan to its original equation. While collating the Maozhuan, he also collated those books which cited Shijing frequently, such as Erya, Shuowen, Wenxuan and so on.
