The Book of Songs was called as the first collected version of poems in the ancient dynasties as well as one of the Confucian classics. In almost two thousand years, many books and articles referred to The Book of Songs came out. With whose family had a long tradition of learning Lu Zuqian was a famous Confucian scholar, historian and literature artist in the Northern Song Dynasty. He was so deeply influenced by his family members, teachers and friends that he had have collected many scholars' works for studying the Book of Songs and written The Lu's Records and Collected Annotations of The Book of Songs regardless of sectarian bias. His most important academic characteristic is synthesizing various theories, which incorporated the knowledge of many schools instead of being limited to one, lay equal stress on present as well as history, and focus on pragmatic work. The paper consists of three parts. Part one is The Lu's Records and Collected Annotations of The Book of Songs had incorporated collection and original thoughts, which not only adopting the essence of many schools with reference to Mao and Zheng's thoughts on The Book of Songs, but also making choices and giving the author's own opinions. Part two is about how objective Lu Zuqian's attitude towards the Notes to Poems is, ie, he didn't completely reject or accept without thinking by himself. Part three analysis on the contents of the Dong Lai's comment notes, which are original and embody the historian achievements of Lu Zuqian. They reflect that Lu advocated the combination of the classics and history. Therefore, The Lu's Records and Collected Annotations of The Book of Songs is not only a great teaching material for beginner to study The Book of Songs, but also an incredible work for recording precious study document and results which tracking down from former scholars as well as Lu Zuqian's own creative ideas and opinions for The Book of Songs.
