Psychoanalysis Of Drama In Li Jianwu's Mature Stage

In the China's idea liberation days of the May 4th Movement, psychoanalysis deeply influenced Chinese cultural field, Chinese modern literature theory and its creation as western modern trend of thoughts .LI Jianwu is a famous modern dramatist, and his drama creation became mature and at the height of power and splendor in 1930-1940s which shows the profound influence brought by psychoanalysis theory and concept. This thesis based on the past research achievements, with Freud, Carl Gustav Jung and Frye's theories, viewpoints and methods of psychoanalysis, trying to study the relationship between his mature creation and psychoanalysis in a broad view and cultural context. This thesis explains objectively the influence on Li Jianwu's creation psychology and artistic practice brought by psychoanalysis and explores his original acceptance and appliance of psychoanalysis in drama creation.The thesis expatiates the relationship between drama creation and psychoanalysis in terms of three aspects during .LI Jianwu's mature stage. Firstly, it discusses the influence which psychoanalysis brought to the drama idea and creation individuality, the psychological endearment of creation subject and other psychological analysis elements. Secondly, it explores the dramatic prototypes and imageries of prototypes during .LI Jianwu's mature stage, which discusses about the imageries of prototypes of HOME and the modern replacements and changes of the prototypes of father, mother and heroes. Thirdly, it further analyzes the psychological configurations of dramatic characters during .LI Jianwu's mature stage in terms of the shift between consciousness and sub-consciousness, the complex of normal and abnormal psychology and anxiety, oppression and reflections and displacements. In view of the fact that nobody in academic circlers has ever studied the relationship of drama creation and psychoanalysis, herein there are significance and value in this thesis, which even gives impetus to the further research of .LI Jianwu's dramas.
