On The Dialectical Ideology Connotation Of The Proverbs In The Epic Gesar

The world longest heroic epic Gesar is the most precious material for studying politics, economics, military, religion and culture of the Tibetan society. It is regarded as the encyclopedia of the social life of the Tibetan people. Especially as the language treasure house, epic Gesar condensed the wisdom of the Tibetan people.Tibetans are good at using proverbs in their daily life for expressing their ideas and reasons .It is not only simple and short in shape but also vivid and expressive in meaning. Good using of proverbs in a conversation could obtain an artistic effect of peculiar and elegant.The characteristics of the epic language are fluency, picturesque and a strong sense of expression. Among them, the using of the folk proverbs is especially a unique feature. The proverbs have a feature of proficiency, sweet sounding and full of philosophical theory. They were permeated by the precious experiences and moralities from the long-term social activities by the Tibetan people. They are the reflection of the cognition and attitude to the outer world and themselves; implicates with the most practical and simple philosophical theories and glitters with naive materialism.This paper quoted a big amount of proverbs from the epic itself and gave a concerete analysis to each of them. And finally concluded four main precious thoughts as follows: First, the thought of universal contactness; Second, the thought of the unity of the opposite; Third, thought of quantities change and the qualitative change; Fourth, the importance of the practice etcBut since restricted by the historical and geographical reasons, there are some moralities in the epic Gesar, which are against to today's attitude, the paper discussed about it briefly as well.
