Research On Two Paradigms Of Lacanian Ideology Criticism

Lacan Psychoanalysis is a theoretical whole of "response before and after" and "consistent".However,it also experienced the transformation from structuralism to backward structuralism,which had different influences on the theory of left-wing ideology.It formed two ideological criticism paradigms of Lacanian or Laconism,and made great contributions to ideological criticism.Althusser,as the leading figure of the critical paradigm of structuralism ideology,takes the pre-Lacan psychoanalysis theory as the frame,fills the Marxist state view with the ideological state machine theory,and redefines the nature of ideology.Creativeness constructs a historical,materialistic ideology and a subjective view as an imaginary representation system.As a representative figure of post-structuralism ideology criticism paradigm,Zizek quotes Lacan’s later thought,draws lessons from Hegel’s dialectics,reinterprets Marx’s thought.Then he criticizes and complements Althusser’s thought of subject.Zizek constructs a new mode of ideological criticism from "passing through ideological illusions-questioning reality-seeing the inexorable nature of social confrontation-the absence of subject".This paper first explains the theoretical sources of the two paradigms,and explains the theoretical origin of the two paradigms with Lacan,Marx and Hegel from their respective theoretical backgrounds and different methodologies.Secondly,two ideological theories and their respective subjective views are discussed respectively.On this basis,the author compares their viewpoints,points out the similarities and differences,and gives an appropriate explanation and generalization.Based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism,we try to compare and comment on the two paradigms as far as possible.
