| The research about commitment is a very important topic for psychology, organizational behavior and management science. And occupational commitment as a research direction is an attitude that people take to their occupation. This attitude will influence people's work performance, organizational commitment and the intention of turnover.Through some methods such as document analysis, interview, and questionnaire investigation, the occupational commitment has been studied. Taking exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, analysis of variance, and structural equation model, this research discussed the structure of employer's occupational commitment, and the relation between occupational commitment and organizational commitment and turnover intention. There are five conclusions in this research:1. For China staff, occupational commitment is comprised of four dimensions: ideality commitment, dedication commitment, cost commitment, opportunity commitment. They have some difference with the conclusions of the other research.2. There is a very strong relation between occupational commitment and the outcome variables, occupational commitment can be a good predictor for turnover intention and organizational commitment and work performance.3. Organizational commitment moderated the relationship between occupational commitment and turnover intention. In this research, organizational commitment has been taken as a moderator variable.4.
