The Study On GuZheng's Vagabondising Poem

GuZheng is a famous poet, who lived in last reign of the Tang Dynasty. However, so far has been there no one intensive paper of study on his poem written during his avoiding war and running away from one place to another. My paper try to analyze the theme and art character of GuZheng' vagabonding poem combine with the society and political background of the last reign of the Tang Dynasty ,hoping to thoroughly comprehend GuZheng 'poem and ethos of the society and literati for the end of the Tang Dynasty.The paper is divided into three chapters:Chapter one analyze the society condition and literati' mentality for the end of the Tang Dynasty. In that time, Tang Empire has declined, the court has decayed, the society has been in out of order, and litterateurs thought that renaissance was impossibility, so took an impassive attitude towards politics. Even if lots of poor literati were crazy about the imperial examinations, they only regarded it as an approach to make a living .There was no exception to GuZheng.Chapter two analyze the theme of GuZheng ' vagabonding poem .Leading a vagrant life make GuZheng not only suffer from vagrancy and missing hometown ,but also sorrow for parting with his friends .Meanwhile ,his poem also reflect the downfall of that time ,and embody the realism feature .The cothurnus consciousness is the primary meaning.Chapter three analyze the art character for the GuZheng' vagabonding poem .GuZheng colligate the inditing thought of forefathers ,form the style of himself .Besides ,DaoJia and JuYi Bai 'influence made GuZheng design his artisc conception which show itself for the bleak and dismal characteristic ,and the language of the poem is simple too.
