The development of culture of sex in Thailand demonstrates that there can be peaceful co-existence and mutual learning of different civilization, that the gap between civilization and the ruler's attitude are the key elements that determine their relationship. Culture of sex in the article refers to the ideas and correspondent custom and political system concerning the relationship of different sex. The spread of Indus civilization plays a crucial role in the development of Thai culture of sex.Primitive feminine worship is the original form of Thai culture of sex. Accompanied by trade, Indus city civilization and Vedic civilization were brought to Thailand, and advanced local primitive feminine worship to the state of culture, therefore Sakdina established, with human-reproduce as principle of land distribution. After the import of Buddhism, temple education helped male noble to leave their family and thus divided the responsibility of male and female, while the male took charge of the affairs outside and the female inside, and such thoughts became the mainstream of culture of sex. The spread of Brahmanism led to the reform of Sakdina, which was turned into a male-titled system , and made male-domination a social consciousness in urban areas, while female is still in the center in rural areas. Existence of primitive culture of sex in the remote countryside is a counterevidence of the importance of the influence of Indus culture upon the development of Thai culture of sex.
