The Study On Suzhou Poetesses In Qing Dynasty

In China's history,there were a lot of poetesses. Especially in Qing Dynasty,the poems written by women is flourishing. Suzhou is a important city in economy and cultrle in Qing Dynasty,and the numbers of poetesses and their works in Suzhou stands a high proportion in China,Qing Dynasty. The purpose of this thesis is to discuss their living conditions and inner being by analyzing those poetesses and their works,and give a objective evaluation on them.At the beginning,the auther shows activities of those Suzhou poetesses in Qing Dynasty,discussing their constitution,family fetures,public fetures,and the influence of their sharp art tastes and fame consciousness on there poem writing. Then,on the basis of text,the auther observes the writing practice of those poetesses,discusses their judgement standards and many-faceted styles.At last,this thesis summarizes those Suzhou poetesses'fluence and limitations and comes to a conclusion that although they were not be enough because of the times,those poetesses were unique in Qing Dynasty and they played an important role in the succeeding of other art types and Wu Culture.
