Zutangji is the important grammatical material of Tangwudai Dynasties. And affix is an important grammatical phenomenon at that time .The paper analyzes the affixes in Zutangji on the basis of exhaustive investigation in details. We draw these conclusions through investigation:1 The affixes in the time of Zutangji were rich, complicated and multiplex. At this time additional morphology was ripe and more active.2 The vocabulary of Tangwudai Dynasties was still mainly with single syllable . But a large number of compound sound words indicated that the direction of bi-syllabication had been the tip.3 Zutangji is a work of spoken language on the whole. Most of the affixes in Zutangji were clear spoken language. As a work about "Zen", some of the affixes in Zutangji could show the conventionalization of "Zen" language.4 Judging a suffix need taking everything into consideration. A suffix should be in accord with the criterions of form and meanings. There are not only "affixes" which are completely grammarticalized but also "class affixes" which are grammarticalized incompletely in Zutangji. Some affixes combine properties of "affix" and "class affix".5 There are quite a few Suffixes in names in Zutangji and many of them have common characteristics. Most of the Suffixes in names have no difference in dialects, but Affix A(阿) is an exception which was only used in the South dialect area after Yuan Dynasty. Its disappearance in the North dialect area was related to its individual traits and social factors.
